Sharon Guebert, OTR is a skilled Occupational Therapist / Hand Therapist who has worked in the field of Hand Therapy since 1984. She has been in her current position since 1990 though the business has changed hands from private ownership to corporate ownership and is now Select Hand Therapy, and entity of Select Medical.
Prior to this, Sharon has also worked in Adult Neuor at Easter Seals, Ft. Worth; Senior Therapist at Parkland Hospital Burn Unit, Dallas, Tx; The Therapeutic Group, Austin, Tx and South Austin Medical Center
She has had opportunity to present topics related to hand rehabilitation at continuing education seminars for HealthSouth, Select Medical, the Texas Chapter of ASHT and for local insurance groups in the Austin, Texas area
Sharon is a member of the American Hand Therapist Society and the Texas Chapter of the American Hand Therapist Society. She currently is secretary for the Central Texas Hand Society and is honored to join the board of the Small Victories Foundation.
